On International Children’s Book Day, the Pre-K and Kindergarten students took part in a special event at the “Pediatric Ianos” bookstore, filled with imagination, knowledge, and creativity. There, we had the pleasure of meeting in person the beloved children’s author, Olga Ignatiadou, who presented her story “Fire in the Forest of the Great Chestnut Tree” and took both young and old on a journey into the magical world of her tale.

The children enthusiastically participated in unique activities! Fire experiments and the Fukuoka experiment helped us discover the value of nature and encouraged us all to commit to protecting our forests. At the same time, we took part in music and movement games, sang songs, and asked our own questions, discovering the joy of reading.

We concluded our visit with a thought, a promise, and a commitment to nature! We hope to continue discovering the magic of stories, the power of imagination, and the precious companionship that a good book offers in every moment of our lives.
