4. KeyCERT Informatics Certification
All Junior High School students, as part of their Informatics and Technology courses, prepare for and take the KeyCERT certification exams in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet. By earning the KeyCERT diploma, which is an essential qualification in Greece and Europe, students certify their computer literacy skills.
5. Special Programs – Informatics
The fundamental goal of the Informatics program is to familiarize students with computers and new technologies through experiential activities, such as creating a digital newspaper, programming games, and making films.
The program also incorporates MinecraftEdu and Hackathlon, transforming learning into an engaging and interactive experience!
6. Extracurricular Robotics Program
Students: Kindergarten – 9th grade
The primary goal of the robotics program is to introduce students to science and technology through experiential activities, fostering both experimentation and creativity.
The curriculum and projects are designed by educators and robotics engineers, and depending on the students’ age group, the program includes constructing and programming electronic and robotic devices, conducting experiments, dramatization and role-playing, storytelling, brainstorming, and creative writing.
