“Secret Event” with LEGO designer Dimitris Stamatis
On Saturday, 7 December, the Schools’ Robotics teams participated in a “Secret Event” where they met LEGO designer, Dimitris Stamatis.
The students had the opportunity to listen to, ask and talk with Mr. Stamatis about how a young, Greek-born man succeeded in designing sets of the LEGO NINJAGO series for the world’s largest toy company.
With his example, he was able to inspire children to pursue their dreams, broaden their horizons and develop their talents. At the end of the event, gifts and signed cards were given to all children.
The event was hosted by eduACT – The Organization for Future Education, which is the official organizer of the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) competition in Greece.
