Shadow theater show “Alexander the Great and the Cursed Snake”

Students of Pre-Kindergarten, Blossoms, Kindergarten and Beatles, had a lot of fun at the shadow theater show “Alexander the Great and the Cursed Snake” with the fighter, satirical and always modern Karagiozis. At the Cultural and Sports Center of the Schools, puppeteer – actor – director Theodosis Vogiatzis enlivened, through this classic work of our modern Greek tradition, the adventures of Karagiozis in a spectacular performance with the dominant spirit of Hellenism, which rises and resurrects against the timeless beast.

Before the performance began, Mr. Vogiatzis took the children on a magical trip through shadow theater and Karagiozis, shared his valuable knowledge and talked about the shadow theater history while at the end the children had the opportunity to see the ornate figures up close and discuss with him.
