Two students from E. Mandoulides Schools participated as members of the “Hellenic Star” team and represented Greece in the World Cheerleading Championship WCC25, held at the ESPN World Wide of Sports complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, USA in the Acrobatic Cheerleading category.
More specifically, D. – A. Bournazou and G.- D. Chalkeidi (10th grade) competed in two demanding categories:
1. Acro Junior Coed Advanced
2. Acro Junior All Girl Advanced
and secured 6th place worldwide in both categories, achieving outstanding international distinction.
They also competed in the ICU International Cheerleading Cup 2025, where they won 1st place.
The team has also achieved:
3 gold medals in National Championships and 8th and 9th place at the European Championships in 2024 and 2023 respectively.
The journey of the two students continues with great momentum, as they are set to represent Greece once again at the European Cheerleading Championship, which will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
