Students of our Schools won a silver medal with their team at the Cheerleading World Championship, held from April 22 to 24 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, USA.
More specifically, students E. Kostikidou, D.-A. Mpournazou (Grade 11), M. Pileidi (Grade 10), M.-E. Tsiopoulou, and G.-D. Chalkeidi (Grade 11), competing with the club Hellenic Star, impressed with their performance in the Junior All Girl Advanced Team category and, for the first time in Greece’s history, earned the silver medal and second place.
At the same time, other students also achieved significant distinctions with their teams. Specifically:
- 4th and 5th place in the categories Youth All Girl Median Team Greece and Youth Coed Median Team Greece, respectively, with the club Hellenic Star, were achieved by students S. Galani (Grade 7), P. Galani (Grade 9), E.-A. Zachou (Grade 8), and Ch. Charitou (Grade 9).
- 4th place in the Senior Jazz Team Greece category with the club Hellenic Star was achieved by student A.-E. Rodakinia (Grade 11).
- 15th place in the Senior Pom Team Greece category with the club Hellenic Star was achieved by student A.-M. Xirokosta (Grade 11).
