Student Lazaros Karageorgiou (12th Grade) will be part of the National Team that will represent our country at the 43rd Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (BMO) 2026, which will take place from Sunday, May 3, 2026, to Friday, May 8, 2026, in Thessaloniki. It is worth noting that the student secured 1st place after the combined scores of the “Archimedes” competition and the Qualifying Round.
Following the combined results of the “Archimedes” competition, the Qualifying Round, and the 43rd Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (BMO) 2026, the top six students will qualify to participate in the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) 2026, which will take place from Friday, July 10, 2026, to Tuesday, July 21, 2026, in Shanghai, China.
