3rd Panhellenic UN Human Rights Student Simulation “Students as Diplomats”
30 Mandoulides Junior-Senior High Schools students participated as diplomats in the 3rd Panhellenic UN Human Rights Student Simulation “Students as Diplomats”, which was organized by the ROI Social Cooperative Enterprise and hosted at Apostolos Pavlos Schools from Friday, 14 to Sunday, 16 December, 2018.
Students – diplomats negotiated issues related to the protection and defense of human rights and got familiar with issues related to the implementation of the relevant UN International Conventions. As representatives of countries, they defended human rights, according to their own country, accepted and respected the arguments and views of other countries, and developed the appropriate arguments in order to convince of their positions.
On the last day of the conference, the Committees’ decisions were presented and the best diplomats were awarded.
