The student S. Barberis (9th Grade) got important distinctions at the World Robotics Championships as a “SCRAPS by Futurelab” team member. More specifically, the team won two places, 1st prize in Engineering Excellence and 2nd prize in KnockOut games.
The Championship was held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, USA from April 17 to 20.
At the same time, the children had the chance to visit St. Basil’s Church in Houston, where the entire community, along with the Consul of Greece Lambros Kakissis, welcomed them wholeheartedly.
