Our School’s student, H. Mavridou (11th Grade) has concluded her music conservatory studies after 9 years with the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki as the youngest inductee. She has amassed the highest grade and distinction with a unanimous Grade of 10 (Excellence) and the 1st Prize. The 1st Prize is awarded to students of exceptional music genius who have excelled in their graduating exams provided they have also excelled in all theoretical classes.
She was also elected to perform the J. Brahms No. 3 Sonata for violin and piano in D Minor, op. 15 representing the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall in the Young Artists Cycle on July 2.
Additionally, she received a scholarship for the second straight year to the summer program of the renowned «Meadowmount School of Music – Society of Strings» in the States, under the guidance of professor and artistic director Janet Sung.
Finally, she has received a scholarship to attend the AIMS Foundation 2024 Festival/masterclasses in Spain with the distinguished professor of Hochschule für Musik Freiburg, Simone Zgraggen.
