The 11th Panhellenic Student Art Competition, organized by E. Mandoulides Schools, was successfully completed. For three days, more than 700 students from 50 schools across Greece and the Greek Diaspora competed in six artistic categories: video, poetry, painting, photography, music, and theatre. The 2024 Art Competition was honored with the Gold Award of EDUCATION LEADERS AWARDS.
It was a three-day celebration filled with imagination and creativity, where students had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with their peers, engage in creative reflection, and embrace a sense of joy and optimism for the future of younger generations. During this gathering, students cultivated and showcased their artistic talents, recognized the importance of art in modern society, and created with sensitivity and humanity.
The members of the judging panel in each category, who once again this year consisted of distinguished personalities from the field of arts, selected the best student creations while simultaneously expressing their satisfaction and enthusiasm for the level of student works, the students’ efforts, and their talent.
On the final day of the Art Competitions, the awards ceremony took place in the packed Theater of the Cultural and Sports Center of E. Mandoulides School.
The closing ceremony began with a music and dance performance by students of the Zografeion Junior High School and Lyceum of Istanbul, under the guidance of their Director, Mr. Giannis Dermitzoglou, who received a warm round of applause from the large audience.
The event was organized by the General Director of E. Mandoulides Schools, Mrs. Aspa Chasioti, along with her capable collaborators.
Among those attending the awards ceremony were: the Consul General of Turkey, the Member of Parliament for Thessaloniki Mr. Dimitris Kouvelas, the Mayor of Kalamaria Mrs. Chrisa Arapoglou, the Deputy Mayor of Education of the Municipality of Thessaloniki Mrs. Efi Theodoraki, school educators, parents and students.
The 11th Panhellenic Student Art Competitions left their mark as a celebration of youthful expression, creativity, and culture, renewing the appointment for next year.
The awards ceremony took place on the evening of Saturday, February 22, 2025, where the judging panels, consisting of distinguished professionals and academics, selected the best student creations.
