The 3rd Grade students enthusiastically completed the interactive educational program “The Adventures of Odysseus,” organized by Politistica Workshops. During the program, our school was filled with… Cyclopes, heroes, and sea voyages!
The children created the story’s sets, collaborated creatively, stepped into the roles of the heroes, and recorded the dialogues, giving their own voices to the Homeric journey.
Through storytelling, creative activities, and the use of digital tools, the students traveled into the world of the Odyssey. They followed one rhapsody of Odysseus’ great journey and discovered the timeless values of the epic—bravery, perseverance, cooperation, and commitment to one’s goal.
This activity gave the students the opportunity to develop creative thinking, oral expression, collaboration, and self-confidence, while at the same time
approaching one of the most important works of Greek literature in a modern and creative way.
Because in our school we believe that knowledge is not simply transmitted, but built through experiences that give every child a voice, a role, and a space to grow.
