On Saturday, January 18, the Track Races for the second phase of the 13th Panhellenic “F1 in Schools” Competition (STEM Racing) were held at the Cultural and Sports Center of the School. Ten teams from Northern Greece participated in the event.
The “Speed Aces” team from the School secured second place, with their car being just 8 milliseconds slower than the first-place team’s vehicle.
The teams that will represent Greece in the World Finals will be announced after the corresponding races for teams from the rest of Greece, scheduled to take place on Sunday, January 26, in Athens.
We extend our congratulations to all the students and teachers who participated in the races and wish them best of luck with the final results.
A special congratulations goes to the “Speed Aces” team from the School for their excellent performance, which has significantly boosted their chances of qualifying for the World Finals 2025. The team members are: D. Alexandris, N. Valasiadou, N. Gantas, M.- H. Samozi- Kaligkatsi, and K. Chatzigeorgiou (11th grade).
