International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste

Food loss and waste is an ethical outrage.
690 million people continue to go hungry and 3 billion cannot afford a healthy diet. International concern is reflected in SDG 2 and 12 which call on us to halve food waste and reduce food loss by 2030. As environmentally conscious educators, we urge parents and students to set a reduction target aligned with SDG12 through “Noutree”, our school’s nutrition program. We are proud to participate in #FLWDay Campaign and raise public awareness through our school community.
