12 of our junior and senior high school students participated in the 1st Online Harvard University Model United Nations Conference (HMUN online), which took place from December 6 to 7, with the valuable collaboration of students from the prestigious University.
The delegates had the opportunity to collaborate with more than 3,000 students from hundreds of schools around the world and were informed about pressing issues of global interest. At the same time, they attempted to defend the interests of the countries they represented (Austria and Hungary), by taking part in simulations of UN sessions.
Within the framework of Harvard University’s conference, student H. Charitou (9th Grade) received a Diplomatic Commendation, representing Austria in the committee “Special Political and Decolonization Committee.”
