Student of 8th Grade M. Batzoli won 1st place in the 17th Individual Chess Championship for Schools of Thessaloniki – Chalkidiki, held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Vasileiadis Schools. Student of 9th Grade A. Davideanu also took part and ranked 6th in his category.
Batzoli qualified for the 30th Panhellenic Individual Chess Championship for Schools, which will take place on Sunday, April 1, 2018 in Athens. Student of 9th Grade M. Triantafyllidis, who as last year’s Panhellenic Champion has the right to take part for a second time in a row, will also compete.
