Our student N. Fesatidou (Grade 10) participated in the 44th National Selection Conference of the European Youth Parliament Portugal, which took place in Covilhã from 15 to 19 April 2026.
Her participation followed her qualification at the 50th National Selection Conference of the European Youth Parliament Greece, held in December 2025.
More than 150 young people from various European countries took part in the Conference. Working in committees, they discussed contemporary issues—from the climate crisis to housing policy—under the theme “Community in Crisis: Seeking Solidarity in the 21st Century.” The event concluded with the General Assembly, where the committees’ resolutions were presented and debated.
Her participation offered a valuable experience of international dialogue, cooperation, and exchange of ideas, and reflects our school’s ongoing commitment to encouraging active student involvement in international institutions and initiatives.
