On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, students from E. Mandoulides Schools participated in the preliminary round of the Panhellenic Informatics Competition Alan Turing. Among 367 teamsfrom across the country, the 6th-grade team, composed of students Gitsa A., Kolio Ch. And Papastergiou G., secured 1st place in the Elementary School category, earning a spot in the competition’s final round.
Remarkably, thetworunner-upteams in the ranking of the Central Macedonia region also belong toE. MandoulidesSchoolsandincludethe followingstudents:

The final round will take place in Patras, on Sunday,May 4, 2025.
The teams competed by solving original puzzles involving mathematical and computational logic.
