Students from Mandoulides School participated in the event organized by the Hellenic Association of Physicists in Athens, at the University of West Attica, from December 13 to December 15, 2024.
Participants in this unique initiative had the opportunity to learn about advancements in various fields of physics and discover their applications in everyday life, thereby deepening their interest in the sciences.
Invited speakers from leading educational and research institutions in Greece and abroad sparked the curiosity of the students through their talks on topics such as astrophysics, medical physics, computer science, and more.
Additionally, beyond the framework of the conference, the students visited the Eugenides Foundation and the Natural History Museum, where they explored interactive exhibits and experiments, uncovering applications of biology, chemistry, and robotics.
