The students visited various interesting destinations, such as the enchanting Pozar Baths, the lively city of Volos, the beautiful Ioannina, the border city of Alexandroupoli, and the unique city of Xanthi.
Educational trip of the 1st Grade of Junior High School to Aridaia – Pozar Baths
The trip of the 1st Grade of Junior High School took place in Aridaia and the Pozar Baths. The students gathered at the school on Wednesday, April 1st, and set off in high spirits for their destination.
Their first stop was Pella, where they visited the archaeological site and toured the Pella Museum. Then they arrived at their hotel in Pozar Baths and, after lunch, took part in sports activities in an open area nearby.
The following day, they walked through the beautiful area of Pozar Baths, hiked in the gorge, and visited the local cave. On their way back, they stopped to admire the iconic waterfalls of Edessa.
It was an unforgettable experience for everyone, filled with wonderful memories as the Easter holidays began!
Educational trip of the 2nd Grade of Junior High School to Volos
The 2nd Grade of Junior High School travelled to the beautiful areas of the Magnesia region, specifically Volos and the enchanting Pelion.
Upon their arrival in Volos on Wednesday, April 1st, the students explored the picturesque villages of Makrinitsa and Portaria.
After settling into their rooms, they took a walk along the seaside promenade of the city, admiring the idyllic scenery of this famous area.
The next day, they visited the Athanasakeion Archaeological Museum of Volos, one of the most important archaeological museums in Greece, featuring exhibits from across Magnesia. On their way back, they stopped at Litochoro and visited the chapel of Saint John. In the afternoon, they returned to the school premises to begin their Easter holidays!
Educational trip of the 3rd Grade of Junior High School to Alexandroupoli
This year, the 3rd Grade’s trip destination was Thrace, with Alexandroupoli as the main place of stay. On the first day, students had the opportunity to explore the picturesque old town of Xanthi and then admire the unique landscape of Porto Lagos, with its small churches decorating the islets.
The next stop was the Silk Museum of Soufli. In Soufli, they also visited the local Fire Service, where the commander gave practical advice to students on how to act in case of a fire or traffic accident.
On the third and final day, the return journey included a visit to the city of Komotini, where students explored central locations and had the opportunity to buy famous local delicacies.
The trip ended that afternoon with the students returning, tired but happy, to the school, where they were reunited with their parents, and start their Easter break!
Educational trip of the 1st Grade of Senior High School to Ioannina
From April 1st to 3rd, the three-day trip of the 1st Grade of Senior High School to Ioannina took place. During the trip, students and their accompanying teachers visited the Byzantine Museum and the Silversmithing Museum on the first day, and explored the castle and the lakeside road of Ioannina.
On the second day, they visited the Zagori villages, toured the church of Saint Paraskevi in Monodendri, and walked along the traditional cobblestone paths.
On the third day, they visited the Pavlos Vrellis Wax Museum in Ioannina and then travelled to Metsovo, where they visited the Averoff Art Gallery.
The trip was a unique experience that will remain unforgettable for all students and accompanying teachers.
Educational trip of the 2nd Grade of Senior High School to Xanthi
The students of the 2nd Grade of Senior High School went on a three-day educational trip to the city of Xanthi.
They first walked through the old town of Kavala and visited the city’s old fortress.
After arriving in Xanthi and exploring the city center, they visited the archaeological site of Abdera, the Folklore Museum of Xanthi, as well as the “House of Shadow” and the house of Manos Hadjidakis.
On the last day, they visited and admired the Alistrati Cave.
It was one of the most unforgettable experiences for everyone!
