As part of the School’s participation in the International Student Assessment Program – (PISA) of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), 10th-grade students attended an informative session on the program’s process and implementation by Mr. Anastasios Emvalotis, Professor at the Department of Primary Education at the University of Ioannina, Director of the Laboratory of Teaching and School Pedagogy, Coordinator of the Teaching and Learning Support Center at the University of Ioannina, and Head of the PISA Program in Greece.
Mr. Emvalotis emphasized the importance of student participation in the PISA study, as it contributes to improving Greece’s international standing and advancing educational research with the goal of enhancing the education system and the school curriculum. Finally, he introduced students to the SKILLS4LIFE platform and addressed their questions.
