Visit to the Hariseio Nursing Home in Thessaloniki
The young students of the 1st grade visited the Hariseio Nursing Home in Thessaloniki, where they were warmly welcomed by the staff and beloved grandparents. With great love and enthusiasm, the children performed a heartfelt show with songs, filling the space with emotions and smiles. After that, they played a fun game together, taking the elderly on a journey back to their childhood and awakening cherished memories from their past.
This interaction was truly unique and moving, as students and elderly residents shared moments of joy and deep emotion. As a token of appreciation and affection, the children offered symbolic gifts, which they had collected with the help of their families.
For this purpose, each class contributed with the following items:
- Α1: Women’s scarves
- Α2: Women’s cardigans
- Α3: Women’s slippers
- Α4: Men’s wool vests
- Α5: Men’s slippers
- All classes: Baby wipes
This initiative was a wonderful experience for everyone, reminding us all, young and old, that kindness and love can bridge generations and create moments of priceless value.
