Lazaros Karageorgiou, a student of Mandoulides Schools (11th Grade), won a bronze medal at the 66th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) 2025, which took place from Thursday, July 10, 2025, to Sunday, July 20, 2025, on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.
A total of 630 students from 110 countries participated in the 66th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) 2025. In total, 67 gold medals, 103 silver medals, 145 bronze medals, and 132 honorable mentions were awarded. Greece won 2 silver medals, 3 bronze medals, and 1 honorable mention, achieving 34th place overall.
