The school’s team won a bronze medal at the 7th Panhellenic Young Naturalists Tournament (Hellenic Young Naturalists Tournament), organized by the Association of Greek Physicists and held from April 5 to April 7 in Thessaloniki, with the participation of 29 teams from Greece and abroad.
More specifically, the students who formed the school team “Fission Force” were: V. Delis, G. Delis (10th Grade), S. Karampasis, G. Karatzoglou, D. Ravanos, L. Toumanidis (9th Grade)
The IYNT is a competition in which students are called to tackle complex problems in physics, chemistry, and biology, based on original laboratory experiments. They must then scientifically defend their positions against opposing teams.
