Christmas Charity Bazaar at Mandoulides School

With a spirit of love and giving towards others, in a unique Christmas atmosphere.

With the participation of students, parents, educators, alumni, and friends of the Schools, in a festive atmosphere and with a desire to give back to others, the Christmas Charity Bazaar of Mandoulides School and the Cultural and Sports Association “EVANGELOS MANDOULIDES” was held on Saturday, December 14, 2024.

At this celebration of love and solidarity, young and old friends enjoyed Christmas carols sung by the School choirs (Elementary, Junior High, and High School), listened to Christmas stories, and watched performances of Christmas fairy tales and theatrical plays:

  • “The Christmas Key, Who Will Find It?” by the Junior & Senior students of the Daycare Center and the Pre-Kindergarten students.
  • “Rudolph Saves Christmas” by the Seeds & Blossoms students.
  • “Christmas in Greece and Around the World” by the Kindergarten & Beatles students.
  • “Christmas Troubles” by the 5th grade students.

Participants engaged in crafts prepared Christmas treats, exchanged wishes over hot coffee, tea, juices, and traditional sweets, shared the Christmas spirit, and welcomed the festive season with “triangles and wishes, love, and treats.”

Authors Sophia Papadopoulou & Hionia Vlahou-Bliatka presented their book “Christmas with the Trash King” with the support of 1st-grade students (published by Aifnis). Additionally, author Elena Artzanidou collaborated with 2nd-grade students on “They Would Give Anything for Christmas” (published by Psichogios). Joining them were the “Kroustodoi” Community Music Therapy Group and the Choir from the A.Me.A. Center “Sotir.”

This year, robots from Robotixlab added a new dimension to Christmas, showcasing how Christmas is celebrated at Space Station A32! Meanwhile, basketball coaches awaited participants of all ages for plenty of basketball games and gifts!

Visitors had the opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts from a large charity market that included creations from students of all levels (jewelry, bags, boxes, charms, small artworks), Christmas decorations, floral arrangements, cards, books, women’s accessories, traditional sweets, and organic products.

The proceeds from the charity market were used by the Schools and the Cultural Sports Association to support organizations, associations, and individuals facing challenges. Specifically:
