2nd International Student Literature Conference

“At nine o’clock,” as the poet C.P. Cavafy would say, began the 2nd online International Student Conference on Literature. The conference was co-organized by Mandoulides Schools and the Zografeio Lykeio of Istanbul 7 and 8 April, 2022.

A total of 200 students from 25 schools in Greece, Istanbul, the island of Imvros, Nicosia, New York and Johannesburg; 50 teachers from secondary and tertiary education; and 45 selected representatives of the arts and letters had the opportunity to exchange thoughts, questions, and reflections on the teaching of literature today.

  • Black versus white: the time of antitheses
