On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, the Dukes Pupil Earth Summit 2025 took place, a forum dedicated to sustainability and action, with the participation of students from the Studies Abroad program. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to attend presentations and educate themselves on three key themes: Environment, Society and Economy.
Guest speakers included Lily Venable, Senior Project Manager at the UN Global Compact Network, Lea Burkhart, Governance and SDG Project Manager at the UN Global Compact Network UK and Giviko Qoridge, a University of Cambridge student with a strong background in youth leadership and Model UN. Students also had the opportunity to gain deeper insight into the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to understand their importance in shaping a more responsible and equitable future.
