Did you know that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was signed in 1948? And that, once signed, it applies to everyone? What is happening in the distant East, and what about in closer areas? Are we ultimately all equal, even though we are different?
As part of the educational program “All Equal, All Different,” the students from the Daycare Center Program traveled from next door to the depths of the East. Armed with the innate curiosity of children and their simple, direct thinking, they explored and dramatized both possible and impossible scenarios of the world. They also confronted their own personalities, recognizing the importance of preserving and further developing their unique identities, while learning to respect diversity in many aspects of their lives.
