In celebration of World Children’s Rights Day and as part of the Skills Workshop, our enthusiastic 1st grade students explored a vital and timely theme. With curiosity and fresh perspectives, they learned about the rights that protect their well-being and safety, such as the right to love, education, freedom of expression and play.
During the program, the children watched educational videos and listened to stories, participated in discussions, and drew pictures illustrating their understanding of these rights. It was touching to see how quickly they connected with the concepts of justice and protection, and how well they understood the importance of these rights. Through games and activities, they also learned how to protect not only their own rights but alsothose of their classmates.
Their experience culminated in a video they created with their teachers, which features the children’s voices and messages. With clarity and simplicity, they expressed the essence of these fundamental rights.
This video serves as a reminder of the importance of equality, love and respect. Let us all remember that children are the future and deserve a world filled with smiles, freedom and care!
