On Sunday, December 15, the Educational Program “First Aid for Dogs” was held at the Theater of the Cultural & Sports Center of Mandoulides School, organized by the V.I.DOG_CLUB Team in collaboration with the Red Cross.
The program was a First Aid seminar designed to equip participants with the knowledge to protect our beloved “friends” in emergency situations.
Specifically, the seminar covered:
- Providing first aid to dogs in case of accidents
- Treating injuries, bleeding, and serious incidents
- Recognizing conditions that require immediate veterinary intervention
- Ensuring the physical safety of dogs until professional help arrives
It is worth mentioning that, before the seminar began, there was a demonstration of basic dog obedience. Most importantly, part of the proceeds will be donated to support the animal welfare organization HOPELAND, which was founded by N. Voulgaropoulou, a graduate of Mandoulides School, Class of ’98.
