Students G. Papapostolou and M. Tsakoumis (10th Grade) and student M. SamoziKalligatsi (11th Grade) participated in the event “From Sports To A Sport For The Mind!”, on Thursday, February 5, 2026, coorganized by the U.S. Consulate General in Thessaloniki, the American Space Thessaloniki, and Eduact, with the aim of offering young people a meaningful source of inspiration through sports.
The event was also attended by representatives of the Los Angeles Chargers; a team owned by GreekAmerican Dean Spanos, namely Fred Maas, Kacey Florence, Zac Emde, and Leonie Strehl, who spoke with the students and shared their experiences from the world of professional sports. Additionally, Los Angeles Chargers player Daiyan Henley delivered a talk focusing on sports, health, and teamwork.
