The 11th Grade students who aspire to pursue Health Sciences took part in an educational visit on Thursday, December 18, to the Ophthalmica ophthalmology clinic, where they had the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and come into direct contact with the field they wish to follow.

During the visit, the students were guided through the surgical unit and participated in a charitable initiative aimed at offering “secondchance glasses” to people in need. Specifically, they worked on checking and cleaning the glasses, as well as recording their levels of myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism.

They also visited ophthalmological examination rooms, where they not only observed the examination procedures but also had the chance to examine their classmates themselves, putting into practice the knowledge they had acquired.
