Ch. Mavridou (12th grade) has been selected to represent Greece in the renowned and historic European Union Youth Orchestra. Her selection came after a live audition among thousands of candidates from 27 EU countries.
The European Union Youth Orchestra – EUYO is one of the world’s most prestigious youth orchestras, founded in 1976 with the aim of bringing together talented young musicians from all EU member states. It offers a unique experience to young musicians (16 – 26 years old), giving them the opportunity to cooperate with leading conductors and soloists, perform at international festivals, and participate in worldwide tours.
The orchestra holds annual auditions in each EU member state. Selected musicians have the opportunity to participate in rehearsals, concerts, and tours, developing skills that support their professional careers.
It is worth mentioning that the student has also been selected as a member of the Hellenic Youth Symphony Orchestra (ELSON).
