Honorable Mention in the Student Competition for Creating a Historical Narrative and Poster on the Theme: “Asia Minor – Pontus: Remembrances”

Student M. Andra (Grade 11) received an Honorable Mention in the Student Competition for creating a historical narrative and poster on the theme “Asia Minor – Pontus: Remembrances”. The competition was coorganized by the General Secretariat for Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, the Special Committee on Cultural Identity of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece, and the Chair of Pontic Studies of the Department of History and Archaeology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. 

As part of the competition, the student participated in an educational trip to the regional unit of Magnesia from March 17 to 19, visiting sites connected to the Greek history and culture of Asia Minor and Pontus. Her work will be published in a widely circulated print edition.
