On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, with a particular focus on individuals with visual impairments, an informational event took place on Tuesday, December 3, at the High School Theater of the Cultural Center. Simultaneously, a program of exercises designed for individuals with visual impairments was conducted at the Sports Center with the participation of students, allowing them to briefly experience life from the perspective of visually impaired individuals.
The informational session and the experiential lesson were led by Mr. Elias Mastoras, campaign coordinator for “A Ball for All” and the only Greek representative responsible for the Paralympic sport for individuals with visual impairments.
Also present were Mr. Alexandros Harbis (International Blind Football Referee) and Mr. Marios Giannakos CSR Manager at Deloitte (Corporate Social Responsibility Officer).
