The preschool children visited an impressive exhibition dedicated to ancient Greek civilization at the interactive thematic park created for this purpose at the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) grounds.
A magical educational journey into antiquity opened its doors and invited our young students to admire up close the grandeur of Greek culture and mythology. We traveled to Sparta, Macedonia, Athens, Troy, and met the great philosophers. We explored art, science, architecture, inventions, and the history of mathematics and physics.
We were amazed by the impressive statues of Atlas, Hercules, the Amazon, Achilles, Leonidas, the Minotaur, Alexander the Great, Zeus, and the goddess Athena, as well as by the oversized constructions such as the Trojan Horse and the Trireme—the warship with which Athens dominated the Mediterranean Sea.
In collaboration with Columbia University, the children also saw ancient scientists and philosophers “come to life” through AI applications, speaking to us about their lives and achievements.
