Mandoulides Schools alumni Wins Bronze Medal at the 20th Southeastern European Mathematical Olympiad for University Students (SEEMOUS)

A Mandoulides Schools alumni, Asterios Varsamis–Kyratlidis ’23, now a 3rdyear student in the Department of Mathematics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), won the Bronze Medal at the 20th SouthEastern European Mathematical Olympiad for University Students (SEEMOUS). 

The competition took place from Tuesday, March 3 to Sunday, March 8, 2026, in Paphos, Cyprus, with the participation of approximately 100 university students from eight countries of Southeastern Europe. The event is held under the auspices of the Mathematical Society of SouthEastern Europe (MASSEE), with the Cyprus Mathematical Society serving as the local organizer. Asterios ranked 55th among all participants.
