On Friday, May 8, students of the 10th and 11th Grades visited the Rupel Fort for the reenactment of the battle, which was held exclusively for students as part of the Forts Month events. With the presence of the Head of Secondary Education of Serres, Mr. Sotiriadis, and the Head of Secondary Education of Corfu, Ms. Vusolinou, more than 2,500 students from primary, middle, and high schools from every corner of Greece gathered at Rupel and became part of an experiential event that connects the past with the present. Through the reenactment, the students, by watching the historical performance, came to understand the meaning of sacrifice, unity, resistance, and love for the homeland.
