Student A. Gravani (11th Grade) will represent the Schools in the program “Youth Parliament – Steps of Democracy: Putting Participation into Action”, an educational program organized annually by the Hellenic Parliament Foundation for Parliamentarism and Democracy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs.
As of this year, the program aims to develop active citizenship in practice within a collaborative, experiential, research and holistic approach. The student will be a regular member of the 14th Assembly, to be held in the Hellenic Parliament from 2 to 6 September, 2019, as she came first in the vote and was elected by the Participatory Action Group, comprising eight students of 11th Grade that worked throughout the school year.
In addition, student E. Kimpouropoulou (11th Grade) was elected as a substitute member, ranking second in the vote.
