The “Nature and I” Innovative Program of Daycare Centre aims to bring children closer to nature, cultivating respect and environmental awareness from an early age. Children come into direct contact with nature, observe, experiment, and learn through play. As part of the program, the children learned about different animals and where each one lives.
Experientially, they toured the world of insects and mainly learned how butterflies, ladybugs, and bees live, and also how bees provide us with honey. Moreover, they learned about their important role in the environment and explored the world of flowers by creating beautiful crafts. Finally, they visited the school’s vegetable garden and got in touch with growing plants and vegetables, understanding the origin of our food.
This visit offered the children a unique learning experience. The Innovative Program “Nature and I” was an opportunity for children to come into close contact with the natural environment and develop a healthy relationship with it.
