The 2nd place and the silver medal was won by the “Superior Solutions” team of the Schools in the “5th Hellenic YNT 2024” Science Competition. With this success they ensured their place in the international IYNT tournament, which will be held in the summer of 2024 in Georgia.
The students who made up the team of the Schools were:
Ch. Gkritsios, Th. Miltiadou, E. Bountziouka, Th. Papagiotopoulos, Ch. Toumanidis (10th Grade) and A. Tsagali (9th Grade), who also received the individual distinction of “Best Reporter” of the competition.
The “5th Hellenic YNT 2024” Science Competition was organized by the Hellenic Physicists Association at the premises of the Schools, from April 27 to 30, with the participation of 18 teams from all over Greece.
At the same time, the “International Physics League” tournament was held for the first time, with the participation of guest teams from foreign countries and Greece. The judges team consisted of members of the Hellenic Physical Society and distinguished teachers from abroad, such as France, Slovenia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Georgia, and South Africa.
