Panhellenic Forensics Tournament
Due to health related restrictions the Panhellenic Forensics tournament took place online this year, through the electronic platform “Zoom“, from 1 to 4 April 2021. This year the event was organized by the Board of Directors of the Panhellenic Forensics Association. The students who were selected to form this year’s team took part in the competition representing Mandoulides Schools.
The students received high marks in a total of 280 students from 15 English and Greek speaking private schools in Athens and Thessaloniki: ACS – American Community Schools, AFS – American Farm School, Anatolia College, Arsakeia – Tositseia Schools of Athens, Campion School, Ekpedeftiki Anagennisi, Geitonas School, HAEF – Hellenic-American Educational Foundation, IM Panagiotopoulos School, Ionios School, Mandoulides Schools, The Moraitis School, PIERCE – The American College of Greece, St Catherine’s British School, St Lawrence College.
More specifically, the student N. Moser (11th grade) won the 1st prize “First among Equals Award” and the honorary plaque, while he was a “finalist” in “Monologue Comic” event.
In addition, the student A. Theodosakis (9th grade) was distinguished with an “Honorable Mention” in the event “Oral Interpretation of Literature Comic – Expressive Reading of a Comic Literary Text”.
