Using the Environmental Studies lesson as a starting point – and after being introduced to the importance of healthy eating in Social Skills Labs – they explore the world of bees through experiential activities. They enjoy a picnic featuring honey, learn about the beehive, the honeycomb, and the honey production process. Finally, each class creates its own beehive, applying their mathematical knowledge of polygons in a Stream activity.
