On the weekend of March 8-9, 2025, the Grand Final of the FIRST® LEGO® League took place at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center (TIF), bringing together the top teams from across Greece who had distinguished themselves in the preliminary rounds.
The Legomasters team from E. Mandoulides Schools, having secured their place in the Final through the qualifiers, competed in the Robot Game and presented their Innovations Project within the framework of this year’s theme, SUBMERGED, which focused on exploring life in the depths of the oceans. The team was honored with the Pit Award!
The Pit Award is presented by the Pit Judges, who assess teams throughout the competition by visiting their specially designed pit areas (pit). This distinction recognizes ingenuity, innovation, and creativity in the teams’ presentations, as well as their strong sense of teamwork.
