On the occasion of the International Day Against School Bullying, the third-grade students took part in the “Speak Now” initiative organized by Το Χαμόγελο του Παιδιού.

Through a symbolic activity in the schoolyard, the children placed paper footprints—symbolic steps representing three different attitudes: silence, the bystander, and the one who chooses to speak up.

Inside each footprint, the children wrote words that emerged from discussion, reflection, and empathy: “I spoke,” “I stood by you,” “I didn’t pretend I didn’t see,” “I asked for help,” “Respect,” “Courage.”

The footprints were spread across the space, forming a pathway. A pathway from silence… to voice. From fear… to support. From bystander… to ally.
