On Saturday, October 11th 2014, an exhibition of paintings by children who participated in the contest “I Paint the Russian Avant-Garde” opened at the National Museum of Contemporary Art, at Moni Lazariston. During the event, the Kostakis Collection, which is the largest collection of Russian avant-garde in the world, was honored.
Our school was honored in this contest with 3 awards and special distinctions:
- D. Siagkri: 1st prize in the age group of 1st – 3rd graders.
- M. Tranou: in the age group of 4th – 6th graders.
- E. Constantinides: 3rd prize in the age group of 1st – 3rd graders.
- D. Siagkri: Audience Award, through a vote on Facebook.
- V. Pavlidis: Distinction by the Russian Center of Thessaloniki.
