“Hands up!” echoed throughout the Elementary School as the students cheered during the presentation of Elena  Artzanidou’s book of the same title, held on the morning of Thursday, October 10, on the school premises.

The event was part of a two-day program focused on school bullying and its prevention, as part of the school’s “School Bullying and Acceptance of Diversity” initiative. During the event, author Elena Artzanidou shared her thoughts and concerns with the students, engaged them in conversation, and presented selected excerpts from her book in a unique way.

At the end, the students dedicated a song to her, filled with meaningful messages, emphasizing the need to condemn anyone- whether young or old- who bullies or uses physical or verbal violence against their peers.
