The 4th grade students took part in a special educational visit, having the opportunity to participate in the environmental program “Ecological Awareness through the Botanical Garden of the Association for People with Disabilities ‘O SOTIR’” in Nea Kallikrateia, Chalkidiki.

During the visit, the children, together with beneficiaries of the Association, toured the botanical garden and the greenhouse, where they became familiar with a variety of aromatic plants, vegetables, and seeds. Through a spirit of cooperation, mutual acceptance, and inclusion, the students actively participated in tree planting and tree adoption activities. The program also included fun educational, experiential, and sports activities.

Before leaving, each child received flowers and seeds as a commemorative gift, taking home not only a beautiful memory, but also the opportunity to continue caring for plants and nurturing their love for nature in their own environment.
