The First Grade students explore and learn… about Thessaloniki
The first trip of this year is a fact!
The enthusiasm of the young students and their teachers was obvious in their smiling eyes! Occasioned by the program “Walking in history… learning about my city”, the students of the Primary School boarded the school buses and, as proper explorers, toured around the monuments of our city.
They left the school happy and set out for the Old Town (Ano Poli), Agios Dimitrios, Rotonda, Kamara, Aristotelous Square and the White Tower. The greatest moment of the excursion, however, was when they arrived at the statue of Alexander the Great and admired the majestic horseman on Boukefalas.
The young students learned a lot about Thessaloniki, had fun and captured these beautiful images on the camera they made but, most importantly, in their hearts!
We look forward to other such beautiful moments!
