With great joy, the 2nd-grade students participated in the 1st Volunteerism Festival organized by the Hellenic Red Cross, an event dedicated to promoting social awareness and volunteer action.
Their participation marked the culmination of a school year filled with initiatives and activities focused on fostering a spirit of giving and active engagement in the community.
Through out the year, our students took part in various volunteer activities, thoughtfully tailored to their age and interests. Through these, they developed important values such as solidarity, respect, and social responsibility.
As part of the festival, the children attended specially designed workshops on recycling, survival techniques and even first aid for dogs. Each workshop was playfully and interactively structured, enhancing their understanding and encouraging hands-on participation, offering valuable experiences and knowledge.
Undoubtedly, this experience was another important step in their journey toward becoming responsible and socially conscious citizens.
